We offer a range of shapes and sizes, with a variety of options to suit any room layout. Choices in sash hanging, colour and design ensure that window areas can be utilised to best advantage. Colours and finishes can be customised to your choice.

Windoors window systems give you excellent weatherability, keeping out dust, heat and noise. Completely maintenance free, U-PVC windows can be easily cleaned with household soap and water.

a. Openable casement window
A structural latticework frame design, fixed end, cantilevered, or collapsible, on a horizontally openable window, wherein the lattice work frame is used for structural value in the open position. This design allows for the load from the glass and sash to be transferred through the latticework frame to the housing to carry the load, which simplifies the mechanism needed to open and close the window.

b. Two Tracks Sliding Window With Glass
Interlocking sliding sash to prevent rattling & sound insulation. A two track window the half-screen and the outer pane or sash both rest in the two outside track, and neither onside up or down. The inside pane rests in a seperate track amd may be raised to allow fresh air into your home.

c. Top hung casement window with no mesh

d. Three Track Sliding Window With Glass and Mesh
Interlocking sliding sash to pravent rattling & sound insulation. Mosqutio sash movement flexibility.
In a triple-track window each pane and the half screen rests in its on individual track, so each sash can move indepenndently. With his added flexibility you can pass items through the open
window when neccessery. You can also move both glass panes to he bottom of the window with the screen at the top for better cross ventilation during temperature weather.

e. Balcony French Doors

4. Why PVC - Comparison
U-PVC as compared to Wood
  • No carpenter required
  • No painting
  • Save time and labour
  • No effect of weather conditions, no warping/corrosion/ peeling/ fading
  • Light weight and easy to handle
  • Lower cost

U-PVC as compared to Steel
  • No corrosion
  • Lighter weight
  • No painting
  • No maintenance
  • Lower cost

U-PVC as compared to Aluminium
  • Practically any colour is possible
  • No maintenance
  • Remains tight
  • Heating/ cooling energy is conserved
  • Lower cost
5. UPVC manufacturing process
Forming U-PVC compound is the first step in the manufacture of profiles. The special compound utilises U-PVC raw material with additive materials such as stabilisers, colour pigments, fire retardants, protective materials (against natural forces) and other filling materials.

This compound is then processed into profiles, through high tech extruders, tooling components and double sided protection folios. The products thus formed are tested against physical forces, for breakability and colour stability under thermal conditions. The appearance, colour, measurements and surface are frequently tested. The profiles are then fabricated in automated machines, customised to size, colour etc., as per the buyer's needs.

6. Advantages of UPVC
Energy efficient
Windows with a low thermal conductive material can reduce loss of energy by up to 30-35%. The decisive factors in reducing energy loss are the materials of the window profile and the selection of glass. The thermal conductivity of U-PVC is 0.14 kcal/m.hr°C, that is, 1/1250 of aluminium (175 kcal/m.hr°C).

Fire retardant
Unlike timber windows, U-PVC sections do not support combustion, and are in fact, self extinguishing.

Weather/ impact resistance
While compounding U-PVC, weather resistance is achieved by anti-ultraviolet and high impact resistant formulation. It can withstand long exposure to extreme weather conditions including scorching sun, storms, dryness, high humidity. Even in special conditions such as coastal areas (salt, storm, sun) U-PVC is more applicable. The systems do not rot, corrode nor warp. Unlike alternatives like aluminium, steel and wood, even after many years, the windows are still perfectly tight and working well, retaining their attractiveness!
Maintenance free
Windoors windows and doors offer excellent weatherability. They are corrosion resistant and completely maintenance free. U-PVC windows can be easily cleaned with household soap and water.

Electricity insulation
U-PVC has a high electrical insulation exceeding 10/15 W-cm.

Environment friendly
Compared to aluminium, steel and wood, U-PVC windows and doors are relatively energy efficient. As an alternative to wood they reduce the rate of deforestation. Windoors profiles can be recycled.

Easy to install and customise
Practically any automated or manual processing is possible. Our profiles are very quick and easy to fabricate to customised needs. They are easy to install. We also offer technical support and assistance to install our windows and doors.

Economics
Apart from all these advantages, our products are also very economical when compared to the alternatives available.

Initial costs are lower for Windoors doors and windows. And they also work out cheaper in the long run.

Due to their low thermal conductivity, they save energy by up to 35%, cutting heating/cooling costs by a third.

Recurring costs are cut as they are maintenance free and need no polishing or painting. Unlike wooden doors and windows, our products will not warp, swell or shrink in rainy or dry weather, needing no repairs.

The long term returns on the initial investment will in fact make Windoors windows and doors free of cost during their lifetime!
